It had me scratching my head - what is a Rhynchonopsis ? Wjen I looked it up, this particular one anyway, is Phalaenopsis hygrochilus (formerly in its own genus as Hygrochilus something or other ) crossed on to Rhynchostylis gigantica - and the resulting hybrid ( once called an Opsistylus I think) then back crossed on the Rhynco again, and the resultant then back-crossed once more onto the same Rhynchostylis. So you could call it a primary hybrid ? in that it has just two species as parents , but the total percentages are 87.5% Rhynchostylis, and just 12.5% Phal.
This is a first flowering of this plant - I have had it all of 2 days (!) - bought it at our show over the week-end.
I think it will do better when maturer.
