Default When do I put shade cloth back on Greenhouse

I live in Eastern PA and I know this was discussed last fall but I cannot find the posts.
When is a good time to put my shade cloth back on the greenhouse?

Being in south Florida I never take mine down unless we are getting a hurricane, being in PA I would say when it starts to warm up, the shift of the sun has already started so if I lived in your area I would judge it on the movement of the sun.

When I was in Doylestown, it was usually about mid-March.

I put my shade on ( unroll the blinds) on the Spring equinox, when I turn the supplementary lighting off.
Put itoff, ( roll up the blinds) and turn the lights on again, on the autumn equinox.
    Easy to remember !

I don’t know what you do about Summer Time in USA, but here in Europe we mostly add an hour to the clock in Spring, and take it back in what we call Autumn and you call Fall. Those dates are the triggers for me.
But I note that a few of the best growers among my friends use aluminium strip shade and leave it on all the year, and I am just starting todo the same thing.

With the orientation of my greenhouse all the light comes in from the south vertical wall so removing the cloth from the east side gives me a bit more light in the morning at least.
I also use the aluminet shade cloth which I believe keeps the greenhouse cooler as well as shaded in the Summer.
I've gone through two Winters now with the cloth removed and the orchids are very happy.
Removing the cloth also extends its life probably.
