Congratulations, JULIE! You are pregnant AGAIN! BTW, how often do you get pregnant, Julie, in the last couples of months? Hheheheheeee... (I only hope that we have not celebrated prematurely!)
It's great that your plant took. I used the pollens from Jason's plant on mine but the two remaining flowers wilted so fast after I did the birds and bees thing with them, so no pregnancy on my end.

Well, your phil are our only hope now ...(Or we have to wait 2 more years before we have more pollens to try this again ...)
When the pod swells unmistakenly, we definitely have to throw a bash, in our virtual forum of course!
    Cheers. Hoa.

I don't mind celebrating at every possible occasion, but I've been reading up on Paph flasking and even healthy-looking pods can be seedless or still fail to germinate. So while the first signs are promising, it sounds much more hit-or-miss than other genera.

Perhaps...but I have the easy part (the sex). It's the Minister of Silly Flasking who's got the hard job, where we face the greatest risk of failure. Maybe Paph flasking is more reliable than the article I read seemed to indicate. I hope so! Still, early signs look good!

I doubt it would be that difficult! Certainly I would go for the green pod sowing method. The germination rate goes down for this method but you run less of a risk of mold taking over your flasks. If that happens, it's over! I would also sow more than one flask as an insurance for mold contamination, mishap, etc ... After the paph pregnancy, I am afraid we all have to rely on Mr. Silly Flasking for the successful delivery of our babies!!! Hehheheheeheee... A tough job, I am sure ...
