    Default Bulbophyllum carunculatum

    I waited for 4 years for this to bloom, the spikes are still putting out blooms.

    It certainly was, I was about to ditch it before it finally bloomed.

    I have this one out, too - it is successive blooming for me, and every time I thinf taking a pic, the latest one has gone off, and the next one not quite out..
    The Eric Young Foundation did some hybridising in this genus a few years ago, I don't thionk they ever got anything they used in their magnificent dish;lays ( could be wrong, I don't go to every WOC etc ) but I did get one of their discard hybrids, using this one - Lady Jersey - has enormous flowers, maybe n8 inches high, a darker brown colour, buit unfortunately the pets reflex back and spoil things. So I prefer this (parent) of Lady J.

    I have two hybrids that have not bloomed yet that are mixed with B. veidkampii and B. virescens I look forward to those blooming probably next year.
