    Default White Marks/Stripes on Leaves

    Good Morning,
Would appreciate some help with these white marks on one of my orchids. The orchid has been split as it had out grown its container and I thought this may have been the cause.
There is nothing on the underside of the leaves and one of them has still flowered.
    Any help appreciated.

I can see some sun damage on the leaves in the photos. Can you share a close up of the issue. It almost looks like cell collapse from cold.

    Cheers,
    BD

It does look like mite damage.

I agree with Ray. Sunburn is not usually in dots and small areas, more general over the whole leaf or leaves. It may be better nay ne - leaves are tender at one stage of development, and tough as old boots at another stage - that accounts for why you can get light/heat damage on one leaf but not another. Mites are less fussy, although they do refer young and tasty new leaves.

    Martin.

I don't know where you live, but if Azamax is available, I recommend to use it on the plants.

It contains azadirachtin, the active ingredient in need oil, but without the pitfalls of oils. It is a contact and systemic insecticide and miticide (a rare combo) that affects both immature stages and adults (very rare), while being nontoxic to pollinators and mammals.
