Used to be called Colmanara Jungle Monarch. Now is an Oncidium ( but still Jungle Monarch, of course) , since all the variuous genera used to make the intergeneric Colmanara, have been merged into Oncidium.

Had this guy for about 12-15 years. It was in the scrap pile when my mother worked as a florist and so it came to live with me. Not a fan of the colors, but it's an enthusiastic bloomer 50-70 flowers once a year and has fantastic fragrance. always thought it might be a species oncidium ,but maybe an inter-genetic. No idea. Can anyone help?![]()

Seems to be a lot of variation in spotting and petal width on this one.
I love the compactness of the flowers!
Beautiful bunches of blooms on this one. Thanks, Geoff, for the name!
cheers,

Fragrance is strong, sweet and incredible too.i can smell it several rooms away. I love it, not sure I ever would, because of the colors, but I do.
