That really confused me at first, as there are two very famous cultivars of Jewel Box - 'Dark Waters' and 'Scheherazade' . I wasn't aware there was a grex named Scheherazade.

Very pretty!
Hi Ray, do you believe I miss-understood the tag? This was one of the orchids that was given to me by Gin when I adopted her collection a few years ago. It was small then and I haven't repotted it yet, so it still has her original tag which is handwritten. Usually the cultivars of an orchid's name appear in some form of quotes. I just assumed that since Scheherazade appeared after the "x" without anything else, it was the cattleya hybrid and not a different cultivar of Jewel Box. Take a look at the tag and let me know what you think, please....
Cheers,
BD
