The Comparettia parent is bright orange ( must put that on my wish-list , I had it once but lost it ). It is a twig-epiphyte, never grows very big or lives very long. The oncidium was new to me, but it is typical of those in Section Crispum.
A real odd-ball this one. I picked it up at a European Orchid Conference in Paris a few years ago.
It is interesting, but not a keeper in my collection.
Pretty, bright blooms!
