This is a classic. The setting sun brings out the amazing color and substance of the flowers.

That's fabulous Connie! Are you giving them full sun? How many hours? No wonder mine don't bloom as often. Mine get partial sun as I'm afraid of burning them.

If they are full or mostly Terete they can go full sun. But most of mine need at least a lace sheer between them and the sun. I also have lattice work I throw up top. They are currently in the greenhouse so the stuff normally on top of the arbors is on top of the shelves in the greenhouse. I have partially protected areas to spots of full sun. I use the larger plants for shade on the Neofinetia and Rhynchostylis hybrids. Then again there is a low sun corner for Phals. It depends on the plant. And yes I use sheers. lol I decided if I was going to have to put up shade cloth it was going to be pretty.

The lace may not last as long as i'd like...but the Vanda love it. Dappled sunlight that lets the rain through.

Living in Florida I run into some nice species and lately I've lucked into a few really rare types. A few people in Florida have begun importing some nice plants.
