Hi, everybody.
As some entertainment for the turn of the year I would like to present a little orchid puzzle.
Tell me which two orchids you see. There are two different Paphs.
First Tip:
Older or very old hybrids.
Please ask questions to come near to the solution.

The first from theleft side has no henryanum in the cross

Tip 2
The Paph. on the left side is one parent of the Paph. on the right side
That was supposed to be “that the one on the left...”. I don’t “hate” anything.
Bruce: forum glitch - when I tried to edit the post, the edit window contained no text whatsoever.
Yes, there are 25% villosum in it
In my eyes you have taken the hardest step. Here comes tip 3:
In the one on the left is 50% in the one on the right 25% charlesworthii.
Altogether there are only 3 species in the one on the left and 5 in the one on the right.
On 25.01.2020 is chinese new year. On 26th 01 2020 there will be the result of this riddle.
Next tip: in the one on the left side there is 25% of Paphiopedilum barbatum.
They both look so familiar! Hmmm?
cheers,

The one on the left is a parent of the one of the right side.
The answer to the riddle:
On the left side:
Paphiopedilum Bingleyense (Keeling 1899) = Paphiopedilum charlesworthii × Paphiopedilum Harrisianum.
Paph. Harrisianum = Paph. barbatum x Paph. villosum.
On the right side:
Paphiopedilum Robin Hood (Sanders[St Albans] 1917) = Paphiopedilum Bingleyense × Paphiopedilum Gaston Bultel (syn Paphiopedilum Baron Schröder).
Paph. Gaston Bultel = Paph. fairrieanum x Paph. Oenanthum.
Paph. Oenanthum = Paph. Harrisianum × Paph. insigne
