    Default Newly Blooming Vanda Flowers

A few of the latest bloomers. Every day I go outside to see which of the spikes has new flowers. I have a new spraying regimen and used less shade cloth this winter in the greenhouse. I was about to quit raising orchids due to the thrips that were decimating my flowers and spikes the last couple years. I'm glad I didn't give up.

Lamallata, whether it is a species or a hybrid made with it, I love them. I have a ton of them in my collection. This plant I happened across about four months ago and once plants went into the greenhouse it immediately threw spikes. And, Thank you it was a long haul but I'm tickled I kept going. And now, It is like my plants are thanking me for not quitting. I have never had so many of them in spike at one time before.

I like the first one best, too. But all the pictured flowers are very pretty.
