    Cool Cymbidium Red Baker 'Benjamin'

Was watering the greenhouse early this morning and found this beauty opening up. I love big cymbidium spikes and this color is so nice. I didn't think to see if it was fragrant.

It looks so fresh with the water drops everywhere. A beautiful morning greeting and such a wonderful intense red, which is intensified by the white in the lip.

Thank all for the nice responses! It is opening up more this morning. I've really neglected it over the past year because of our move, but at least it went ahead and gave us a flower-spike. And, Connie - you really should. This is probably the largest Cym we have grown. It seems to get tall and wide - perfect for an outdoor cymbidium flower bed.

    cheers,
    BD
