Default questions about repotting/dividing C. walkeriana

I just bought this Walkeriana 'Divina' x sib alba. It has an amazing fragrance! and I think the rounded leaves are really beautiful. It is potted in a plastic basket. I set it in the wood basket to keep it from falling over, though i do want to repot it into the wood basket.. It has 'walked' way out of the basket, and unfortunately the two newest roots broke right where they join the pseudobulb during the ride home from the show. The breaks don't show in the picture.

The bloom is shriveling, and I'm thinking to divide it and put it into a basket with LECA when the roots begin to grow.

Does this catt do well with division? Or will it set it back? How can I encourage it to bloom with more than one flower?

Any tips on growing this catt?

If the blossom is fading, it’ll take a break then start putting out new growths with their accompanying newly emerging roots. That’s the time to repot, not right after blooming.

    C. walkeriana (it’s a species, so isn’t capitalized) will produce more blooms once it gets more mature and the colony larger.

Thanks Ray. Good to know it will have more than one bloom at a time! Orchids are giving me good personal growth opportunities!. I'm working on patience.
