    Default Sick Dendrobium Burana?

I have had this plant for a few years. It never re-bloomed. The photo shows the black spots on the leaves. It recently started to put new canes with leaves. They are just above the orchid potting mixture.) At first I was told it was caused buy too much light, but now I am not sure. Is this caused by bacterium or a virus?
    Thanks!

If it is squishy, rub some cinnamon into the spots. It will dry them out and keep any infection from spreading. If it is from too much sun, usually new growth will be okay unless the hybrid is one that needs a little more shade.

@alanbar, just curious where are you located and how are you growing this orchid? (light, temp, water?)

I am growing it in a NYC apartment . It is under and LED lightbox that is on a south facing window., temperature is anywhere from 65 degrees to 75 degrees Water is tap water. Humidity is between 65 and 80.

The odd thing is that it is not squishy at all. The new growth might have a spot or two. I recently sprayed it with Hydrogen Peroxide. If it is from too much light I am not sure what to do.

It looks to me like fungal infection damage that occurred asa result of water left standing on the leaves. Unless it is progressing, I wouldn’t be all that concerned.

As to the “never rebooted” part, give us details on your growing conditions and maybe we can make some suggestions to remedy that.
