    Default galeandra ?

Anyone ever grow one? I was thinking about it. What can you tell me about culture if you have.

I have not had the best luck with deciduous species in the past ( dendrobiums).

I believe they are all deciduous, meaning ( of course) annually deciduous - so they need to be managed to go into rest, after dropping their leaves. The usual slight problem with these plants, is keeping them from either rotting or shrivelling up whilst resting, and when to start watering again. I only have them on my wish list . They don’t appear on any dealers lists I see. Even Ecuagenera who list a couple of thousand (mostly) American species don’t list even one.
Maybe take a trip south with a big sponge bag ? Orchid Mall will give you a few names.
Hey now, Mr. Orchid CITES policeman, that was just a joke.....

Oh, I found a couple of them at a couple of stores but not the one I want. The fact that it doesn't require a dark, cold rest period is encouraging, as well as not having to completely cut off water, but not sure I dare

I have one (G. baueri) since last autumn, it flowered repetitively and now is in resting mode (and a bit shriveling), I am holding my thumbs for it to wake up again rather soon... (or at any time as long as it wakes up...). It is now potted (as it was when I bought it, but if it survives the resting period, I am considering mounting it on a tree (living in Okinawa helps for that).
