Default what ?? bleach not for sanitization or disinfection?

I just read the back of my (big brand name) bleach bottle. It says it's not for sanitizing or disinfecting! It says to use their brand of 'Disinfecting Bleach' for that.

Wow, bleach and disinfecting bleach. There's a difference? And I've been using it to soak my plastic pots.

"Standard" bleach is a sodium hypochlorite solution. The norm was 5.25%, but I've seen it higher and lower. it is a good disinfectant, but may not be as effective as one with other additives. The warning is likely a combination "no liability" and marketing statement.

My bottle of Clorox has disinfecting and sanitizing instructions on it.
Banner on top of label says "Cleans & Disinfects"
    BTW it's 6.0% sodium hypochlorite
