    Default Scaphosepalum gibberosum-Another Neat Oddball

I got this as a bonus plant with another order a couple years ago. It is a cool grower which doesn't really match my growing conditions which are intermediate to warm. The plant readily sends out spikes, but does tend to blast buds. I'm sure it is because of my conditions. That being said, it does sometimes bloom and I really love these odd flowers.

    I like it.

I think it is good to suddenly end up with unexpected bonus plants. That's how I got into growing some Stelis species.

I agree Arne. In fact I sometimes like the bonus plants more than the ones I paid for.

I like Kathi’s comment. As soon as I saw it, I thought ‘Star wars’... but I have to admit that I am tthe only guy in the Western World who has never actually seen any of the Star Wars movies.
