I have no idea where the name came from - its the one on the label, but the Register kept by the RHS, or OrchidWiz, have nothing anywhere near it. So its a nurseryman name. But then it does not matter too much except to freaks like me , who want to investigate parentage, or to anyuone who wants to breed from it, which I don't.
The plant has six flowering canes, I can't show more than four at once, two others are always round the back.
Free flowering - as you can see ; I think it was cooled off - 2 months in a cold frame with temperatures going down to about 6 deg. C., and of course no water at all since September - I shall start again when the flowers fall, and new growths appear. Obviously a D.nobile based hybrid.
