    Default Dendrobium Lindleyii

A little disappointed in the "crop" this year. Last year it finally gave me more than 2 spikes as every other year had (6 spikes!) This year it says ha ha! with only 1 spike.

    Lovely!

This is the Dendrobium, which is considered soo easy each time it shows off overwhelming flower cascades. But according to me that only happens when the weather during growth and especially during its rest in winter has been perfectly ideal.

    Sheryl,

I've learned to be happy with whatever it decides it wants to do and I've surrendered trying to have an influence.
I got 6 spikes this year. Last year had none.

But guess what? I have 2 plants that hang side by side and they NEVER do the same thing. The other plant had "0" spikes this year.

Gorgeous Leigh! Yes I have 2 hanging side by side and the other gave me zero. I divided the plant about 4 Years ago and have been paying the price ever since. It did not like that at all!
