It's just lovely! And yes, I've seen many posted here lately that are very similar. Have you gone into your browser settings to see about turning off the predictive typing?

Another of the Section densiflora species. Quite difficult to tell apart, some of them. This is said ( in "the books") to be very similar to farmeri , but actually the plant , apart from the flower, is rather different from the farmeri plants I have grown or seen in the wild. And no trace of pink in the flowers either. But palpebrae - which means "eyelash" according to IOSPE , has longer hairs on the lip - so my second pic is an unltra close up, to show these - unfortunately I haven't got a farmeri out at the moment, when I next do, I will try and take a similar pic to compare.
Not very long lasting flowers, here , and not too large either, in fact distinctly smaller than my farmeri ones. Maybe my palpebrae is not a good example.
And as a digression, does anyone know how to turn off predictive typing in this app , on a Mac ? It drives me mad, trying to turn botanical latin into more familar words..
