Hi Smike, and welcome!
I'm really lousy visualizing stuff like this. Could you post a picture?

I have a 35+ year old indoor hoya that needs new ideas for a support system. Currently it is growing around itself set in a 20" pot and up 3 teepeed 5' bamboo poles. It's outgrown this home. Any ideas? A trellised wall? This carnosa has moved many times through many climates and it thrives. Your thoughts are appreciated! smike

Know what you mean I have one in the greenhouse it is all over the lattice overhead . I would get some of the nice looking lattice, comes in white and a few colors , If you have a wall to put it on ...that might work . Welcome to the forum Gin
I agree with Gin. Mine is only about 3 -4 feet long, needs a new pot....
Welcome to the forum!!!
I agree with Gin, too. Mine is only 4 yrs old and I have it growing up a tomato cage.

I've never seen Hoya's up close and personal, but I have only heard of them and seen pics of them mounted on corkbark.
I'll be getting some cuttings soon, I think.
Tindo, I will take a picture of mine tomorrow and post it in the eye candy section , there maybe one already on it ? They can get very big , mine has runners that are 16 foot long ,it is not that old . If your cutting source bombs out let me know Gin
I like the blooms on carnosa! One of those on my "someday" list. Recently got my very first hoya as a cutting from a friend. Neither of us have any clue what color the flowers will be as she had just received several cuttings from friend of her's [& gave me one of the 'spares']. Not that it would help w/ identification, but the leaves on this one have a white border/margin.
Any idea how long it generally takes hoya cuttings to establish and bloom? It presently has some 1 inch water roots.
