    In the past only had one spike with each bloom, this was a surprise!

    Wow I can't believe the thin spikes are so strong. Very nice and the photography great as usual!

    Very similar with Bulb purpurascen how do you differentiate between this 2 as the growth habit almost similar?

    Growth habit is about the same the big difference is this one the leaves are purple and shorter then the purpurascens that have a green longer leaf.

    Thanks Geoff, I would agree especially this year with 4 spikes which grew half as much longer then when it bloomed last, maybe getting fresh media in a repot helped there.
