    Default insect damage? disease?

my new little Blc. Tropical Pointer 'Cheetah' arrived today. It has this weird dark bumpy holey stuff on the leaf. The leaf is firm with no visible bugs.... any ideas what it is?

Wow, that does not look good but I'm not sure what it is. Was the packaging damaged?
Have you sent this picture to the vendor and asked for an explanation?
I'd be upset if I received a plant that looked like that and I'd send it right back where it came from.

Looks like something was having a snack on that. I’d definitely let the vendor know of your disappointment.

Yes, and that damage happened before shipping if that is how it looked when it arrived. The vendor should have cleaned up that plant before shipping. And, if they missed something that obvious, they should be made aware.

    cheers,

Thanks for your replies. I emailed the vendor and they issued a refund, an apology, and told me to cut off the old damage and it should grow fine. That type of service makes me happy to keel buying from them
