Yes, but the blooms are so tiny on this one.

Thanks so much! I need to find a better place to grow it. If the mount was hanging up, the blooms would grow in the same direction as the plant and make for a prettier display.

    cheers,

I see it listed both ways too. I just put what was on the tag I have - it might be dendrobium again. Thanks for the nice compliment!

    cheers,

Very interesting Bruce. I have one Dockrillia - no idea which - my illuminating tag says D. sp. Had it maybe 10 years ? Maybe longer . Never flowers, although I can see withered sheaths where buds might have developed on most growths.
You will be growing rather warmer than me , I imagine ? Maybe I'll turn my 'stats up a notch or two when I have taken all the cymbidiums out of the greenhouse and put them in the new one ( now waiting for the electrician ) and see if that helps. It won't hurt the cats and vandas, I'm sure.

Just seen your crayons story ; here's one about face masks ( from Andy Murray ( tennis player) 's mum) ; Masks are the new bras. They are uncomfortable to wear, We only wear them in public, and everybody stares if we don't wear them.

Ours seem to love the heat - thank goodness since it is really hot here most of the summer.
