This dendrobium was starting to bloom yesterday afternoon. Most of the buds are just opening. There were only a few open when I took the photos. It always makes such a pretty display. The plant is a mess! It has grown all over the place and puts out its flowers from top to bottom.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.
Dendrobium crumenatum
cheers,
BD

I understand they tend to grow this way. I got a division several years ago and it took forever before it first bloomed for me, this year it has started to really take off with growth and blooms, it just finished putting out more blooms last week, the third time since March. Nicely done Bruce!

It's a pretty flower Bruce and I love the wildness of how it grows!
Very pretty flowers. I like how it looks like it is straight out of the jungle.

This plant has bloomed for me when small or large. The size is not the important factor, it is a temperature drop. It needs about a 7 degree (Fahrenheit) drop, and about 9 days later it blooms. After blooming, leave the inflorescence on because they usually re-bloom from the same place.
