    Default Phalaenopsis pulcherrima champorensis

This is the peloric form of Phal. pulcherrima. The interesting thing about this one is that I bought the plant as a seedling a number of years ago and thought it had 2 crowns. However, when I repotted it there were 2 separate plants. I potted them separately and the other plant is the same color, but is not peloric. They also bloom at the same time consistently. The normal plant is just starting to open flowers. I hope to also post a photo of that one so you can compare.

I guess the grower potted up two of them in one pot. I've purchased some normal, no name phals from the home improvement store and have found double plants before. Usually one is in bloom and the other is not. I look forward to the flower comparison photos.

    cheers,
    BD
