Hi. I have a cattleya pradit spot for seven years now. Two years ago I found out that this cattleya is one of those that need some kind of "winter rest" so these past two winters I've moved my orchid to a cooler room and watered it less frequently. Since I started doing that, the orchid has tried to grow two flower spikes, one last Spring and the other a few weeks ago, but nothing has come out of it. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. The orchid is in front of an east-facing window. Receives direct sunlight for at least three hours. I fertilise it and even feed it calcium. But nothing. Does anybody has any suggestions? Thank you.
