    Default Bulbophyllum septemtrionale

    I first noticed the spike growing at the end of July, I did not know then that it would be 4+ months before I finally saw the bloom. The spike is 30 inches tall and this one is a sequential bloomer but I have no idea just how many blooms I will end up getting. Talk about learning patience this has fit that bill...

    That is really beautiful! I read an article in the AOS magazine in the last few months about sequential blooming Bulbos. From what I recall they can continue to bloom on the same spike for an extended period of time.
