An old orchid friend of mine said that if you have a vanda that doesn't seem to want to bloom, just move it about 3 to 5 ft in any direction, and this usually will stress it enough to stimulate blooming. He told me this after he gave me one that he couldn't get to bloom for so long he couldn't even remember what it looked like. I took his advice, and got it blooming within 3 months (medium size flat yellow with reddish tessellations - odd combination)
