Any idea why these vandas/aerides are copper colored now? They are suffering! Also lower leaves on some get spots, turn yellow then fall off. Full sun early mornng but not the rest of the day. Any ideas? Thank you!Name: image.jpeg

I don’t think so. Too much sun and they burn, just like any other plant.

I suspect some sort of infection.

Sheryl, have you considered some sort of copper treatment? Most people start with a fungicide, but it’s really difficult to tell if that’s fungal or bacterial, and copper compounds kill both.

    Sheryl,
To rule out fusarium, maybe you can cut through the stem of one of the worst affected. A purple "ring" would indicate fusarium. Let's hope that's not the case.

That's sad, I hope the plant lives.
