The quality of the picture is unfortunately very bad. I tried to resize it but it came out all wrong....

I am wondering about the stamen that seem to appear on one of the flowers of this Habenaria. I have cultivated and have seen quite few Habenaria of this type (rhodocheila yellow and red, xantocheila, roebellinii, erichmichelii and it's not always clear to what extent they are all different species) but I have never seen anything of this nature on any of them.

    Does anyone have an explanation?

That is so strange. How unusual. It looks like it was just stuck on there. I look forward to hearing from someone who grows Habenarias.

    Cheers,
    BD
