Would love to see a photo, but would think they would grow well with all those roots.

I have cut the stems in half because they were so tall. There are aerial roots all along the stems. Should I cut some of them off before potting/planting them? They look pretty hairy😊!! Thanks! And if I take some to my niece in S. Florida, can she just stick them in the ground?

Here is the potted plant and the clippings
Sheryl, I would absolutely not cut off any of those roots. They grow for a reason, so let them do their jobs.
I cannot advise about the “stick them in the ground” part, but I’d recommend potting/planting these just like the remaining, pruned plants are growing.
Sheryl in Malaysia and Singapore they grow an on open space without any shades and thrive like a weeds with the height up to 6 to 8 feet, during the flowering season I would say amazing scenery.
Thank you gentlemen!
