Since I have moved here to Khon Kaen two weeks ago, some of my 17 plants that I took with me are spiking and even blooming. My vanda miniata is a very small plant, but the tiny buds and blooms (I think) are quite nice.

One more pic from yesterday.
This is always a cheerful species. But it is Vanda garay, not miniata. V. miniata has longer leaves and blooms at the end of summer. The more distinct difference is that V. miniata has a curved lip while it is straight in V. garay.
Arne. Thank you for the valuable info. It is always a little difficult getting the right ID's and names here in Thailand due to the language and translation issues when purchasing inside Thailand from most the sellers. I will change the name on my files that I keep track of. Thanks again.
Lovely!!
I love the bright, cheery color and perfect little blooms.
cheers,
