what is the key to getting the orchid Blc. Mahina Yahiro- "Ulii" to bloom. It was repotted a year ago, is growing very well and has plenty of light, but none of the many new leads have bloom sheaths? Thanks for any advice.
Nine times out of 10 when an orchid is growing well, but not blooming it is due to insufficient light. You should increase the amount of light -slowly- avoiding direct sunlight. Cattleya orchids need very bright, filtered light. Avoid direct sun -especially on wet leaves.
