These aren't my work but rather are some pics I took at an art fair a couple days ago. They're made out of metal. Not sure if it's all iron/steel or if he uses other metals as well.

Bear sorry couldn't avoid the white flecking ... that's from light shining through him.

    Elk

    Moose

    Moose & Elk's backside

    Warthog

Notice the coarse 'fur' on the animals? Each 'hair' is a nail! From what I can tell they're rusty hence the color. As for the rear end of the elk ... no I wasn't trying to moon everyone here vicariously. [That was just a fringe benefit. ] He got a different fur color-- which elks do indeed have there -- by using other nails -- looked like maybe galvanized steel.

Last year, he had an incredibly cool 'Predator'-like alien holding up/supporting a gas grill.

Those are so wonderful! I have seen similar lawn pieces but not with such detail. Imagine how long it takes to do! About how much do they cost?

Wow those are really wonderful. I love art that really looks like something... guess I am too right brained to appreciate most "modern" art type stuff.

I think I need the warthog for my front yard! That would turn some heads! I am afraid the gun happy folks around me would shoot at the elk and moose. LOL! Cool pieces. I bet they are really heavy too!

    Cheers!

These are great; love the moose! Warhog looks a little too familiar.......an ex? or maybe one rough morning in the mirror???

I wonder what other pieces he does. Alligator? Billfish? Cobra? Wolf? Ooooh, wolf would be cool!

Well, I can only say how relieved I am it was the predator-alien holding up the gas grill and not the elk's butt. That could be a fire hazard...
