    Default Phalaenopsis lowii(var. parishii)

This is a relatively new acquisition for me. Have had it for a month under flourescents, with good ventilation, and good humidity, and regular misting regimen.

    Default I have one!

I have one of these as well. It has to be my favorite phal species (the flowers look like hummingbirds to me).

Mine is potted in a 2" pot with spag and seems to be happy. However, it does lose every leaf in the winter no matter how moist I keep it. Come March new leaves sprout.

I've had it two years with no blooms in sight, but I think mine might be slightly smaller than yours. How long is your biggest leaf?

    2.5 inches,
I hope mine doesn't drop its leaves as I am keeping it in a humid environment (my vivarium).

    Default Hmm..

I think I'll try keeping it in a small terrarium over the winter and see if that helps. Thanks for the great idea!
