Epiphyllum are called the "Orchid Cactus". They are a succulent more than a cactus, I believe. They produce beautiful flowers, usually open only at night. Many have a wonderful fragrance.

Although from the title of the thread, I thought maybe the crock had a new ED perscription...
I got a cutting of my biology professor's plant 25 years ago and gave it to my mom for mother's day. She lived on Long Island at the time, and each summer it would get one bud. It would swell up to the size of your hand and then open at night, blooming for just a single night, filling the porch with its scent.
My mom still has that plant. My folks moved to Florida in 1994, and the plant went berserk down there. Here's a photo from a year or two ago. Near the bottom of the first page...
