    I didn't understand why this guy was called the bamboo orchid until I saw a picture of the plant:

    Beautiful blooms, but you would need a stepladder to see them if you were growing the plant in your yard.

    Default Its quite tall.

    Some canes from the clump may have been 2 meters tall.
