    Default epidendrum help

Back in March a pollenated a flower on my plant of Epidendrum prismatocarpum and I am now wondering how long before I can harvest the pod as it is changing color. The data I have found so far says 300 days .Thats still 3 months away and I dont think that it will last that long.
Has anyone any info as to when to harvest the pod

    Murray,

PM Aaron (aka ABro.) He's done a lot of Catt alliance breeding and is very good on capsule maturation times.

I have an Epidendrum cutting with no roots... Is it possible to survive and create new rotts? It has been standing for 10 days in pure bark covered with plastic bag, and lower leaves are wrincled but the apex is still fresh!

This is some sort of Ep. with no bulbs....

    Sorry for the bad English...

its is possible to get the reed stem varities to take root from a cutting of the stem ,but without it having already started a new growth from the side or roots ,it can be rather hard .
Just keep it warm and humid with good light but no direct sun.
