Purple & White Dendrobium

2 weeks ago I found this lovely dendrobium at my local supermarket. It had one bloom open and when I saw the colors I knew I had to have it. The
plant itself is only 8 inches tall but the tallest spike is a little over 12 inches. How often can I expect it to bloom? I also found a different one that had almost finished blooming for $2.

these plants normally flower once per year ,but the canes cane flower more than once

Here is the $2.00 orchid. Very small for a dendrobium and in a 2 inch pot.
One other growth had bloomed previously and there are 2 small new growths.

does the purple and white one have a fuzzy lip?I have a noid i bought in sacramento that looks exactly like that one.

by the way when i got it it had 5 spikes and just got done with another.
