My sharry baby needs help

I got a sharry baby last year. It already had some very small black dots (the man at the greenhuose said was nothing bad) on the leaves which were green and looked healthy.
After a summer outside mostly in complete shadow (only a short sun exposure almost at sunset), the old leaves are full of this little dots and start to be yellowish.
I think the plant functions are ok since in the same time 2 big new bulbs came out, please excuse my ignorance in orchids stuff but do the old bulbs produce spikes or new leaves?
Does anybody have an idea of what to do? I hope are not some kind of fungus since I just got a new orchid I m afraid it will go on the other plant too.

Black spotting on this type of orchid is very common - I wouldn't worry about it. The typical progression is that each season new bulbs are produced - THOSE are the ones that produce flower spikes. Once they have spiked they will provide energy through their leaves for the next generation to repeat the process. Eventually in a couple years the leaves will yellow and fall off and you will be left with only the pseudobulbs. So, with 3-4 years growth you might have a bare pseudobulb or two, a couple of yellowing leaves, lots of good healthy leaves, a few bulbs with spikes (and after flowering new growth starting). If you have a digital camera you might post a pic of what the spots look like - but I'm guessing it is nothing serious. mike

OK I feel better now..... indeed are the leaves from the older bulbs that are yellowing, the one that flowered last year all still all right.

sharry baby does seem to be very proan to leaf spotting .Of the 5 plants of it that I have 4 have leaf spots.I believe that it is a genetic fault .

The man where we got it (an orchid greenhouse) told me was nothing serious but I started to worry when they got more and the leaves got yellowish
and since there is a new plant next to it I wanted to be sure not to contaminate that one as well.
You know, it s a bit pathetic start a collection ..(my third plant) and have it decimated at once!
But I feel better thanks....I won't panic so quickly in the future.

from what I found out this moring having been to a large grower.These spots are a cultural thing and there findings indicate that the plants that get it hav been grown to hot.
