    Default Paphiopedilum micranthum

Here is one of my favorite (and wierdest) Paphiopedilum micranthum I have... it orignated from a plant collected in the early 1970's in YunNan, China... This one has white petals and sepals with pink overlayed, a very short inflorescence, and 2 distinct lateral sepals (instead of a synsepal).

    Julie,

Thanks! Yes, this form will continually produce flowers exactly like the pictured one.

(Oops: BTW, these pictures are from February 2006... I found them yesterday evening...)

That is a terribly tiny plant for such a large bloom and such a short flower stem for a paph! The flower is definiely the center of attention with that orchid--very, very pretty.
