    This are some cool looking buds! Can't wait to see the flowers! It looks to me like a chrysalis of some kind. Are you growing some butterflies there, Gin?

    no B flys but ants love it . I think I read it is natural for them to have ants . G

    My first thought was that was the rear end of something fat and ugly was munching on your orchid. Scary! Some Halloween joke!

    I'm glad to know that that is a bud. I've never seen one like that, now I'm prepared for future happenstances. Thank you.
