It's getting to be that time of year!!
So to follow Hoa's famous Floof Thread, here is the start of my paph/phrag thread... There will be more pictures in a couple of weeks if all the others hold onto their buds!
One of my favorite hybrids, this little guy/gal blasted the single bud last year, but then put out tremendous growth - and rewarded me this year. I like to think that it might even be award quality. The pictures don't do any of these justice...
paph It's A Doll
A long time friend, very reliable and easy to grow and flower.
Another easy grower, with wonderful warts... has hairs too, but you can't really see them in this photo.
One of the dangers of buying seedlings/unbloomed plants - you can never be sure of what you are getting. This is supposed to be a remake of Imogene Keyes, which is a bright, almost solid red complex paph.... Has some significant issues with synsepal shape and an extra sepal.
This guy is one I have posted before... Think it might be a nice, dark, vini, yes???
(Note the tag....)
Hi Diane,
It's a Doll isn't a registered cross. I have Paph It's Doll, and it's certainly not that (malipoense x St. Swithin). That's what the tag says, huh?
Nice blooms, all!

Wow, what a show!
Beautiful show Diane! I am impressed! We have some paphs in bud right now, but not many in bloom!
Cheers!

FAntastTIC!!!
First, I think your "It's a Doll" is actually "Justa Doll" = charlesworthii x gratrixianum. And it's a ripper! The shape is much better than many I've seen around!
the fairrieanum cross is another ripper... what is it? Reminds me of my Red Magic.
Can't wait to see the RVO baby
Ah! I bet you have it, Tim-O!
Good on ya!
