I have a Dtps. with the label "Queen Beer 'Mantefon'. I got it in April and it still has blooms on it(though now fading fast) It is small and pinkish purple. Lovely plant. However, when I researched it I found it referred more often as "Queen Bee" which makes a lot more sense than "beer".However, did find the Queen Beer label a few places too. Can someone tell me which is definitely correct? I am in the process of trying to accurately label the plants I have and hope this forum can help. Will have to have my son explain how to send digital photos to this website as I have only sent them via e-mail to date and not quite sure how to send them here. Thanks.

Dtps. Queen Beer 'Mantephon' HCC/AOS is the correct registered name. As Diane mentioned, it's smaller flowers are a dark magenta with tiny red spotting on the lip and lateral sepals.

Thanks! It does have the tiny red spotting you mentioned. I love it.
