I just started putting my orchid to rest. Since I have the leaves seem to be getting very light and little by little turning yellow. Is this all right for the plant? If not could you tell me any tips on solving the problem. I been just spraying it once a week now with no fert.

What kind of Orchid, and do you have any pictures? There are lots of possible problems, but it is probably nothing. In phals the bottom leaves will get old and fall off, however if this is happening rappidly and to more than one or two leaves at a time, then that is a problem.
