Two Cymbidium species

Bruce recently posted a spectacular Cym. erythrostylum. I don't have room for these brutes, but I recently photographed a friend's. Not nearly as showy, but lovely nonetheless. The second photo is Cym. dayanum.

I, too, have to drool from afar. No room for the big plants.

Lovely Julie! These guys get big fairly easily, but can always be divided if you don't want a big plant. If you like it, try it. ---it is only space...hehehehe

Nice species.
Cym eburneum has only 1 or 2 flowers per spike but are very fragrant.Size is compact with thin grass like leaves.Mine has put out 4 new growths which are growing quickly & it still sits in a 6" pot with loads of space.
Does not appear to be fussy about conditions , i blasted the first spike & decided to keep it in the growroom over winter.It was put outside April & spiked June , spikes take forever to bloom.
Last years flowers.
