So, what do you think? Should I give up on summer and bring the feeders in? I've always been an advocate of positive thinking, but I may be fooling myself here

YUCK !!!! Even though I tend to look at the world through rose colored glasses, I think that my hope would be fading rather quickly.

Hmm I think you would have to thaw out the hummies before they could take a drink... Or enjoy a popsicle!

Brrrrrrrr. I hope the hummers have gone south! One thing about winters up north though, with the snow and the ice many scenes are beautiful. Down south things just turn brown. Although the bright blue sky and the bright white sand beach are STILL beautiful in the winter if you dare to venture out!

I think it looks beautiful. I love seeing the long ice on the edge of a porch. On my drive to Northwest Arkansas on Sunday, there was lots of ice on the sides of the rock cliffs. Stunning, but of course I did not bring my camera along.

    Cheers,

Leave it up Sarah! I, for one, would love to see a photo of a hummer in ear-muffs!
