We got this one blooming. One of my favorites, and a native to boot.

These two were bought in bud and are giving us the gift of their blooms for Christmas!
Ascda Crownfox Honey Gold 'Tangerine' and Darwinara Charm 'Blue Star'
We got this one blooming. One of my favorites, and a native to boot.
And last but not least, our own little noid Onc Pnk with a full spray. Our very first 'home grown' orchid. Mounted on driftwood, the blooms are 5/8 inche tall. The closeup looks like sugar crystal cookies!
Great pics Tami !!!

Those are all cool, Tami! Bravo on beautiful blooms for the holiday season!
Cheers,

Wow... the third one down looks so alien...
Lovely blooms and photos, Tami!
My fav is the Darwinara. Partly because it's blue - and I mean really blue! And partly because it must be so cool to have a plant named after your husband!

Just Beautiful ! all of them ! Gin
Nice Tami! Especially the Asco!
Thanks for looking, everyone. Darwinara has a beautiful scent too. Darwin did pick it out, not because of the name, but he fell in love with the color. It's 'his' orchid. It has neo in it's breeding; I wish I'd gotten a pic of the neat spur. The color in the pic is correct, too (how'd THAT happen?).
The cochleada is special to me in that it's a Florida native. This one is mounted on cork. I would love to photo it in it's habit!
Thanks, Pavel, we ordered the asco while we were on vacation (saw it in the AOS magazine). It arrived in bud the night before we got home. It's a gorgeous plant with roots everywhere and we are stunned by the midas gold blooms. Glad you enjoyed the pics.
