Yes, I think it got the best qualities of both parents. I love the color on the dorsal....so lovely, but I do like the darker petals on it. I also like that the Grande I have is the golden variety. So different!

Ok, that's interesting, thanks guys. My Phrag Wossner Super Grande has been getting full sun for much of the day and the leaves are VERY yellow-green rather than greenish-yellow, if that make sense - it had me a bit worried, that's why I asked. But if it's more a question of the leaves burning, which they're not, then I won't worry about it.Originally Posted by Paphraguy

John, as long as you're not noticing burn, or leaves bleaching to white, your super-G will be fine. As Jason and Pete said, they need quite a bit of light to bloom well, and that sometimes comes at the expense of "pretty" (read nice, deep green, houseplant-looking) foliage.
So, no worries.
